What’s up with Kim?
In 2008, after a lifetime of eating Doritos off her chest while lying down on the couch, Kim’s junk food-befogged brain was hit by a thunderbolt of clarity: being healthier could equal being happier. At that moment, the seeds of drastic changes were sown. A pack a day habit slowly disappeared. A gym membership was acquired and, more shockingly, used. Most recently, a gluten-free vegetarian diet was adopted.
Today, Kim is healthier and, as predicted, happier. Life isn’t perfect, of course, but Kim firmly believes that by constantly learning about food and employing her new culinary knowledge, she can keep that spice of life that makes the bitter less bitter and the sweet more sweet.
Kim daydreams about food while working in Washington DC; she cooks in a suburb of that city.
